The Central Ohio Library Consortium (CLC) seeks a customer focused support specialist to assist in maintaining the Consortium's Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS). The position requires someone with superb technical skills and a strong background in library business processes or a similar inventory control system. Starting salary is $40-50,000 plus a comprehensive benefit package. 40 hour work week, exempt, plus some nights and weekends.  Equal Opportunity Employer.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for administration and support of Central Library Consortium's integrated library system (ILS) supporting a variety of services including circulation, cataloging, acquisitions, serials, reports, and public access. Works with CLC's software development staff and vendors to design new products, services and workflows that enable more efficient staff functions and to make new features available to member libraries and their patrons.

QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated experience with integrated library systems or similar Client/Server CRM or Inventory control applications is a must. The candidate must also have experience in IT customer support and requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills. The position involves occasional travel in the Central Ohio area and a valid Ohio Drivers License is required. The Central Library Consortium (CLC) is a Central Ohio Library system serving a five county area consisting of eleven member libraries. The CLC collection contains over 3 million items and an annual circulation over 20 million. The CLC maintains a data center and offices near Columbus, Ohio.
