[OPLINTECH] Information about the network outage

At about noon yesterday, all AT&T services to the State of Ohio Computer Center (SOCC) were cut off -- literally -- when a road construction crew working near the SOCC drilled into an AT&T duct and cut their fiber trunk.

Since OPLIN Internet connections come back to the SOCC for aggregation, OPLIN libraries with AT&T circuits lost their Internet.

AT&T worked through the night and completed repairs at about 4:30 this morning. OPLIN Support is checked through all downed circuits to make sure service has been restored to everybody.
