Fred,

                Our process is really simple. We prepare a PC with all the essential applications and run sysprep on that PC. Then before the PC reboots and begins set up of device specific hardware, we use FOG to image the hard drive. Now we have the image stored on the FOG server and can deploy it to any PC. We also have some old PC in our staging room that we can deploy the image to. If you do it this way, as long as you don't allow Windows to boot up after you image it, it doesn't matter what the end hardware is. Let me know if you want some more info.

Good Morning,
Was just wondering what some of the IT people at the other libraries are using for programs for doing a system image on their public access computers? We've had a couple of hiccups on ours and I would like to create a system image so we don't have to keep starting over from scratch all the time. Ideas are welcome and I appreciate all the feedback.
