Please excuse multiple postings...

The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for Television White Space (TVWS) Grants.

Based on discussions with experts, we anticipate that project costs should not exceed $14,000 for most Ohio public libraries.  Applicants may request up to $10,500 in federal funds and all projects must include a 25% local cash match of the total project cost.  If an applicant applies for the full $10,500 their local match must be $3,500.


Grant proposals received by April 15, 2016 will be taken to the State Library of Ohio Board on May 20, 2016. Approved projects run from June 1, 2016-June 30, 2017.  Proposals received by June 15, 2016 will be taken to the State Library of Ohio Board July 21, 2016. Approved projects will run from August 1, 2016-August 31, 2017.


A total proposal package must be submitted electronically to lsta at library.ohio.gov<mailto:lsta at library.ohio.gov>.  Information on the TVWS grant program can be found at:  https://library.ohio.gov/services-for-libraries/lsta-grants/. The Request for Proposal is located under the "Available Grants" tab and other application materials are located under the "Apply" tab.
