[OPLINTECH] Windows 10?

Chad,
I knew I would have to uninstall and reinstall DF on the new computers, but aside from all it did the following:
· Converted our Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Home
· Disabled and removed our network adapter
· Removed our Microsoft Office 2013 software
· Browsers were sluggish than before
· Removed our Bluetooth adapter
· No Microsoft Account no Cortana
· EnvisionWare PC RES and LPT ONE weren’t working even after the upgrade of the software
We didn’t experience this on all the computers, but most of them. Instead of dealing with all the problems, I just stayed with Windows 7 which was working just fine and most of our patrons are used to this OS better than Windows 10 OS.
Hope that helps,
Fred

Fred,
What kind of problems did you have with Win10 + DF when you tried it on the public computers?

Phil,
We currently have started moving to Windows 10 for the staff computers and everything seems to be working fine. We use Polaris (Innovative) and it works fine as well. As far as the public staff computers go, I use deep freeze on all the public computers and I tried on several computers to upgrade to the Windows 10 installation and it was a mess at least for me. I reverted back to the old operating system. We have the current version of Deep Freeze also on our public computers that is supposed to be compatiable with Windows 10. We also use EnvisionWare on our public computers and that seemed to work fine, but after pondering how much work it would be to fix the computers I have decided to just stay on Windows 7 for now.
Hope that helps,

Has anyone else started using Windows 10? We're using it successfully on a couple of staff computers, and once we install the latest version of Cassie we're going to see if it works with our public PC setup (notably Deepfreze).
