A TechCred application window opens October 1, and will close October 29.
TechCred reimburses Ohio employers for the cost of training leading to
certification for current and future employees. So far, Ohio public
libraries have been awarded TechCred funding for staff to earn 71
credentials.
I encourage you to share TechCred with your local business community and
education institutions. Credentials for a wide range of trades and
professions are eligible.
Program details can be found at
https://techcred.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/techcred/about/program-guidelines .
In honor of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, here are two resources you may
find useful:
The Multi-State Information Sharing & Analysis Center offers services for
state and local government agencies. Subscribe to security advisories and
access tools including incident response, tabletop exercises, webinars,
vulnerability management programs, and more.

The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency is tasked with
supporting information security in government and business. Access their
Cybersecurity Awareness Month toolkit, and review their many resources
designed to help secure your organization.
