[OPLINTECH] 3M AMH Sorter for Sale

Due to a renovation, including the installation of a larger AMH unit, the Westlake Porter Public library is selling an approximately 10 year-old 3M AMH sorting system. The unit is working and in good condition and is up-to-date with all regular maintenance. Maintenance has been kept on the system since first installed in late-2014.

Price $2500, negotiable
The unit will be available for pickup in early-mid December once our renovation and new AMH are completed and operational. We will coordinate with the purchasing library on an exact availability as we get closer to December.

Specifications

  *   3M Branded AMH Sorter (circa late-2014)
  *   Reads RFID tagged materials only (we use 3M alphanumeric compatible tags)
  *   7 sorting destinations
  *   9 total bins (7 spring bins, 2 padded cloth drop bins)
  *   Staff induction feeder (no direct patron induction module)
  *   SIP connection to ILS
  *   The control station and induction station were upgraded to Windows 10 in 2023.
  *   Approx. footprint: 6'6" wide X 12' long.
  *   Control pedestal is approx. 32"w X 9"d (must be secured to a wall.)

The purchasing library will be responsible for:

  *   Picking up and transporting the AMH components (box truck or trailer req. due to size).
  *   Re-configuring the system for your ILS and sorting needs.
  *   Securing future maintenance and/or maintenance contracts (current agreements expire this November)
  *   Any additional software or hardware needed to connect to your ILS or operate the AMH.

To our knowledge, all hardware and software is included to operate the system. The system has been used with both Sirsi Symphony and Koha ILS.
