Thanks for the update, Tyson. Glad to hear that it worked. I've saved this information for the near future.
Thank you everyone,

Hi Tyson,
Drop this into an (XML) text file in the same directory as the Microsoft Office "Setup.exe" and name it something easy to identify (Mine is configuration-Office2024Enterprise_public.xml in this example). Make sure to update with your MAK key info. For our public deployments, I exclude OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams. This is also for standard but hopefully should get you on your way.
<Configuration>
<Add OfficeClientEdition="64" Channel="PerpetualVL2024">
<Product ID="Standard2024Volume" PIDKEY="PUT_MAK_KEY_HERE" >
<Language ID="en-us" />
<ExcludeApp ID="OneDrive" />
<ExcludeApp ID="Outlook" />
<ExcludeApp ID="Teams" />
</Product>
</Add>
<RemoveMSI />
</Configuration>
To install it, open powershell and browse to the directory with your install file and XML configuration. Run this command to start the installation:
.\setup.exe /configure .\configuration-Office2024Enterprise_public.xml
Hope this helps!

While we're on the subject, I just ordered 13 licenses for Office LTSC Standard from TechSoup, and I'm having nothing but trouble installing it. I've followed their instructions to the T, and can't get it to work. Does anyone have any insight on it? TechSoup and Microsoft haven't been any help.

Hi Mark,
No there isn't. Like I mentioned earlier I didn't scroll down far enough to see the LTSC version on TechSoup. That is going to be the best option for our application. Thanks to everyone for their input.

I'll echo Tim and Sam. Perpetually licensed Office 2024, LTSC or otherwise, seems the simplest choice for simply offering Word/Excel/etc on a computer for patron use, especially if they carry their own USB flash drives for storage.
Colleen, is there a particular reason you are seeking to offer the Office 365 version? And if they really want cloud storage, could your patrons just sign-into Onedrive.com with their own personal Microsoft accounts and use Word and Excel in a browser, just like Google Docs?
Thanks,
