[OPLINTECH] Bookmobile Technology

Howdy,

Can any libraries out there with bookmobiles provide me with a little
guidance on the technology that you have in your bookmobiles?

We are already working with a vendor that has spec'd out things like a
generator for AC power. We are also planning to get a laptop complete with
full circulation-desk peripherals (receipt printer, barcode scanner, etc.)
and a basic black and white laser document printer for staff use only.

At this point, I have 2 primary topics that I need help with: internet and
security cameras.
For the internet connection, this obviously needs to be some sort of
cellular modem. Does anyone have any recommendations?
For security cameras, we would like to capture video inside and outside
during events. These cameras would not be recording 24/7. They would only
record during events in case there were any incidents to help protect our
staff and library property. Cameras that stream video to the cloud do not
seem like a viable option due to bandwidth limitations from a cellular
modem. So, some self-contained system seems to make sense. Does anyone have
any recommendations?

I also welcome any feedback beyond these questions.
