[OPLINTECH] Interactive Digital Signage

The new applications are to support two special collections with content developed in-house.  They would allow patrons to explore the collections from the device in the library.  I have some limited previous experience with CleverTouch devices in K-12 education.

What kind of interaction are you looking for? I bought a CleverTouch smart touch display for our museum system a few years ago. It has a droid based OS, but I believe you can have one built with its own SFF PC built in. I will say, it is HEAVY, but it's designed to take a beating so patrons won't knock into it and break it. Also, the billing had some strange issues, but I'm hoping my struggle helped them iron out that issue so you won't face it like I did!

I haven't played with it much since it is used mostly for the museum's presentations, but I used to work at a college and we had our education department order some for their use. It was pretty well received.
