From tyson at mywcpl.org Tue Jan 6 09:03:01 2026 From: tyson at mywcpl.org (Tyson Horton) Date: Tue, 6 Jan 2026 09:03:01 -0500 Subject: [OPLINTECH] Catalog kiosk Message-ID: I am looking to run our catalog computers on a raspberry pi using Chromium in Kiosk mode with Full Page OS, which i have set up and working, however, some of the links on the catalog page would require a back button to get out of (eg. Get a library card), or try to open a new window (Hoopla). Anyone else running their catalogs this way and do you have a good solution for these issues? -- Tyson Horton IT Manager Williams County Public Library 833-633-7323 x282 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... There are downloads for Windows, OSX, and Linux, including Debian packages for the raspberry pi. It doesn't answer your question with chrome in kiosk mode running on a raspberry pi, but I hope it will help ! We use the PiOS w/desktop image, with the X11 windows manager. Create a user and restrict their access. Set up Chromium using policies to lock it down. And use a few scripts to manage inactivity and launch Chromium.
