[OPLINTECH] Vendor for courtesy phone

We use a cell phone for this. We have two, one only for staff (social media
accounts)  One for patrons and demonstrating apps for patrons. 

 

It has worked out very well, especially for patrons trying to set up one of
the prepaid phones. They often need to talk to support while doing things on
their phone. 

 

It isn't used much, but it is really appreciated.

We would like to provide a courtesy phone for patrons at the front desk, to
make brief calls like calling for a ride. Unfortunately, our phone system
can't limit the length of calls except as a global setting.

 

Could you help me with a couple of questions?

1.	Does your library have a phone like this for patrons? If so, what
are the limits on it and are you happy with how it works?
2.	Do you know of a device (phone) that we could plug into our network
or a phone line that would do what we want?
