[oplinwebkits] Reminder about images and accessibility for the disabled

Hello all,

Recently, we've noticed that some libraries have started putting images that look like scans of entire posters or brochures on their site homepages. Just a gentle reminder that, even if you're using the alternative text field with these images (and you should be!), the vast majority of what is in these images is inaccessible to people who are blind or visually impaired, using screen readers. Additionally, in many cases, the text is too small for many users to read (or want to take the time to try to read). Although it takes more time, please make the effort to type the text into your site, rather than just paste an image of the poster/brochure. Your disabled patrons will thank you!

If you have any questions about this, please don't hesitate to ask.
