I signed up for the 1 hour zoom class for next week but I'm afraid it might
be over my head. I am virtually clueless but I am determined to try to make
the new website work.
Here are a few of the pressing issues.
How do we add and connect new books in the "featured items" of our
homepage? If that is too complicated of a procedure how do we get rid of
it?
Should we and how would we get rid of redundancies? i.e. 2 spots on the
homepage for catalog (only 1 works) and 2 spots to sign up for a library
card.
How do we add/remove/change items from below the large image area? It
appears there is room for 3 items and we currently have 2 but I do not
remember how we even got those there!
Can I post 2 calendars (children's and toddler) on the youth programs
calendar page? I think we had both there at one time but now there is one
and if I try to add another it deletes the first.
For now the site is barely usable at all and while I know it will not be as
good as what we had before I would really like to spend some time trying to
make it function.
I hope the zoom class helps but as you can tell, I am really not a
website designer or computer programmer at all! Thank you for any help.
