[Seo-circ] DISPLAY Guidelines Reminder

I would like to draw your attention to the guidelines outlined in the Principles of Cooperation<https://servingeveryohioan.org/governance/PrinciplesofCooperationupdated8-8-2023.pdf> regarding borrowing materials intended for display purposes.

In Section 11, Bullet Point 4, the principles state: "Be mindful not to request in member libraries materials for 'seasonal' or 'hot program topics' etc. when the season or topic is also popular for the owning libraries displays or programs."

Avoid borrowing materials like eclipse books, which are considered hot topic programs, and new releases for display purposes. When these materials are borrowed for displays and programming, it hampers the owning library's ability to showcase these items and fulfill hold queues for patron requests.

Your cooperation in following these guidelines is greatly appreciated.
