Important Announcement Regarding Access to Workflows



Greetings SEO Members,



WorkFlows Access



Beginning Wednesday morning February 12th ,  please change the IP Address in the Workflows configuration box to cloud.backup.seolibraries.org   This is for anyone accessing Workflows



Beginning Monday morning  February 17th, you may change the URL back to your normal IP Address host information.  Most libraries will use the cloud.seo.lib.oh.us in the IP Address field.



Locations that do not have Static IP addresses or use a local ISP for Internet connection will use workflows.seolibraries.org in the IP Address field.

Why is this happening?


SEO is moving our VPN Gateway Appliance to the OPLIN Core at the State of Ohio Computer Center (SOCC) in Columbus.



In the past, SEO has experienced Internet outages which resulted in Workflows being inaccessible at times.



This move to the OPLIN Core will eliminate the chance of a Workflows outage based on SEO network or Internet connection disruption at SEO.



This infrastructure move will provide higher bandwidth and greater redundancy for our access to the Workflows database.



PLEASE NOTE: The status of your local libraries network connection or a service interruption of the SirsiDynix datacenter would still impede Workflows access.



We are excited that OPLIN has made this available for SEO, this will help us provide you better service.
