Greetings SEO Members,

Get ready for a new way to search for books in Enterprise! We're excited to announce that we will be moving forward with Syndetics Talpa AI as it is no longer a beta project. We want to thank the 21 libraries that have been using this new search tool since the Director's meeting in May. SEO has purchased access for the entire consortium and our staff will be adding Talpa across all profiles this week.  Look for the new Talpa AI Search button on your online catalog homepage:

What is Talpa?
Talpa, an AI-powered search tool, lets you find your next read by simply asking a question or describing what you're looking for.

Forget keywords - just ask!
Instead of remembering specific titles or authors, you can now use natural language to search our catalog.

Here are a few examples:

  *   "Do you have any books about time travel?"
  *   "I'm looking for a mystery with a twist ending."
  *   "What was that book about the dog who saved the town?"
Talpa understands your requests and provides relevant results from our collection.

How to use Talpa:
You'll find a new "Talpa AI Search" button in our online catalog. Click it to access the Talpa search bar and start exploring!
