OPLIN-Gongwer -- Distribution list for Gongwer Ohio Report

About OPLIN-Gongwer
English (USA)

Written by a staff of experienced, professional journalists, Gongwer's daily Ohio Report provides detailed coverage of Ohio Statehouse news and events, including every bill in the General Assembly and the activities of the executive and judicial branches.

A special arrangement between Gongwer and OPLIN provides up to 200 Ohio public librarians with an e-mail copy of the daily Ohio Report through this listserv. Additionally, members of this listserv will receive automated alerts that detail activity on bills and issues of specific interest to the library community.

Gongwer's content is protected by federal copyright law, so list members may not forward or redistribute the Ohio Report in any way.

Using OPLIN-Gongwer

This is a special "announcements only" type of list that does not allow general postings for discussion. Its only purpose is to distribute e-mail copies of the Ohio Report.

To subscribe or unsubscribe to the list, send e-mail to director@oplin.ohio.gov. Include information about your Ohio public library affiliation, including your public library e-mail address. (E-mail addresses from commercial services such as Hotmail, Gmail, and Yahoo cannot be used for this special service.) Requests will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

HOW TO READ the OPLIN-GONGWER MAILINGS

When you get mailings from this list, you'll see a list of links to stories in the Ohio Report -- ignore them. The full content of the Ohio Reports is contained in the attachments. Clicking on the "headline" links only works if you have a regular Gongwer subscription and password. The main Ohio Report will be a file with a date in the name, like "Jun25.htm."
