[SOA] ANN: SOA Spring Meeting, April 19-21

The Society of Ohio Archivists will hold its spring meeting April 19-21 at the Ohio Historical Center in Columbus. The conference begins with a pre-conference workshop on scrapbook conservation lead by Brian Meggitt of the Intermuseum Conservation Association in Cleveland. Max Evans, Executive Directory of the National Historical Records Administration, will deliver the plenary on Thursday, April 20. Twelve sessions will be held during the conference, on such topics as disaster planning, JPEG 2000, public records, and outreach. 
A business meeting/reception will take place on Thursday afternoon. Other conference highlights include student poster sessions, restaurant tours, a silent auction, and tours to the Ohio Governor's Residence, State Library and Ohio Historical Society. Pre-registration is $40 for SOA members and $50 for non-members. Registration includes lunch both days and parking.
