Save the Date for "Outta Space"

The Connecting to Collections partners are pleased to announce an upcoming workshop on Best Practices in Storage and Space Planning for Ohio's Cultural Heritage Institutions.  

The Ohio Connecting to Collections Survey identified inadequate storage space for cultural heritage collections as the Number One preservation problem statewide.

Come hear professionals from the library, museum, archives, historical society and conservation communities discuss how they have addressed space concerns.

Registration for the conference is FREE. There may be a small fee for box lunches and/or a list of nearby restaurants will be available to attendees.  

Two sessions will be offered:  

Southern Ohio "Outta Space" Conference

Cincinnati Museum Center

In conjunction with the 2012 Ohio Museums Association Annual Conference

Northern Ohio "Outta Space" Conference
Tuesday, May 15, 2012
Akron-Summit County Public Library
9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
