I'd like to announce again that the annual OPLIN Stakeholders
Meeting will be held Friday, October 10, at the Quest Business
Centers in Columbus, Ohio. More information, including the
agenda and on-line registration, is available in OPLIN "For
Librarians."

http://www.oplin.lib.oh.us/librarians/secure/Forms/stakeholders2003.htm.

Library staff can access "For Librarians" with the username
"oplin" and the password "l1br8ry" (that's "library" with
the vowels replaced by numbers).

The Quest Business Center is just north of Columbus at
the Polaris exit (nearby mall for you shoppers...you
know who you are). Registration for the meeting is $15,
payable in advance or at the door. Continental breakfast
and a pasta and salad bar will be provided.

The theme is "Extreme Makeover!" and the day will be
devoted to information about OPLIN's transformation over
the past year. The guest speaker is Tom Sanville, executive
director of OhioLINK, who will discuss resource sharing
between libraries in a speech called "Making Money Work
Smarter." At the closing session, Carol Roddy will discuss
OPLIN's response to CIPA, and take your questions about
OPLIN policy and requirements.

We look forward to seeing you.
