Microsoft Publisher 2000 Basics, Part 1

Description:
"Publisher is for anyone wishing to create long documents,
brochures, text manuals, flyers, or resumes. The class
will start by discussing the difference between word
processing and desktop publishing. Students will then
learn how to design and use content wizards to create the
outline of their publication, as well as how to use a blank
publication to work from "scratch."
Participants will learn to apply special formatting effects
to drawing objects including fill color, fill effects,
object shadows, and line styles. Basic printing issues
such as publication size and desktop printing options will
be taught. The day will wrap up by examining some of
Publisher's built-in project templates."
Part 2 of this workshop is scheduled for Thursday, October 30.
