OHIONET, a not-for-profit library network, seeks an OCLC Services Manager to
assist the Director of Library and Member Services in the implementation of
all activities that satisfy member requirements for OCLC services, including
training, support, marketing and communication of those services. The
successful candidate will plan work activities and supervise an OCLC
services staff of three in the attainment of OHIONET's strategic direction
for member services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are
required to maintain effective information exchange with OCLC, member
libraries, staff in other networks, and library organizations. Some travel
is required. 
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, MLS from an ALA-accredited
library school preferred; minimum five years relevant work experience within
a library. Knowledge of OCLC cataloging, resource sharing, and reference
services is preferred. Salary dependent on qualifications (minimum $40,000);
excellent benefits, including 20 days vacation, 12 sick days, generous
personal leave, employer-paid healthcare, TIAA-CREF retirement plan, tuition
reimbursement. This position is available immediately.
