OHIO PERFORMER'S SHOWCASE UPDATED.

Warren, Ohio-November 1, 2004, 10:00 a.m. - NOLA Regional Library system
has recently updated the Ohio Performer's Showcase website. This
database of performer information and video clips has been updated with
7 new performer videos in addition to 11 new performer listings. =20
The Performer's Showcase project was funded by LSTA funds in cooperation
with Ohio's seven Regional Library Systems (CAMLS, GCLC, MOLO, NOLA,
NORWELD, OVAL, and SOLO) and the State Library of Ohio.=20
This project was started so that no one needs to travel to look for a
magician, musician, storyteller or other performer for their library
event. Instead of a trip and travel expenses, you can simply turn your
computer on and go to http://www.showcaseohio.org

<http://www.showcaseohio.com/> and view at your leisure over 130
performers willing to present programs at your Ohio library. Included
in this database is a brief description of the type of performance,
contact information including telephone number and address, and fees
charged (if supplied by the performer). If you see a videocamera icon
and the note "watch video clip" with the listing, you can also watch
several minutes of the performer's act in Quicktime!
The NOLA Regional Library System is a multitype library agency that
coordinates and facilitates the development of services of its member
libraries for all of their constituents. NOLA is a membership-driven
organization that seeks to strengthen library services and to promote
the continued improvement of libraries in Ohio.=20
