What constitutes outreach services to senior patrons? How does your

do you find and work with community partners? Where do you find
resources for programming materials for extended care facilities'
patrons? How do you communicate with a deaf patron when you don't know
sign language? Do you agonizing over incorporating music into library
program because you're musically challenged? If these are just a few of
the questions you have about expanding and enhancing outreach services
for senior patrons at your library, join Paul and Peggy as they share
tips and tricks of the trade in their library careers at Portsmouth
Public Library. During the last 30 minutes of the workshop, Paul and
Peggy will facilitate as participants have the chance to share their
best senior outreach ideas. Participants are encouraged to bring copies
of successful senior outreach programs they wish to share.
