A newly identified species of ancient crocodile, *Dakosaurus
andiniensis*was discovered in the southernmost region of South
America. The short robust
snout and large teeth differentiate the skull of this 135-million-year-old
predator from previous fossil finds and prompted its nickname "Godzilla."
