The Greene County Public Library is seeking a full-time Head of Youth Services for the Xenia Community Library.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Duties include public service, collection development, programming, and managing the day-to-day functions of the Children's Department.  For a full job description, please visit our website at www.greenelibrary.info

REQUIREMENTS:  MLS from an accredited ALA program.  Two years supervisory experience preferred.  Thorough knowledge of professional library science and administration as evidenced in proven ability in children's and young adult services including storytelling and collection development.  Proven knowledge of microcomputer applications for libraries required.  Ability to communicate clearly; listens, understands, speaks, and writes effectively.

STARTING SALARY:  $37,980.80 plus excellent benefits
