SAVE THE DATE FOR THE CO-ASIS&T ANNUAL MEETING
LUNCHEON AND PROGRAM ON THURSDAY, MAY 5, 2005.
WE ARE HONORED TO HOST JOE BRANIN, DIRECTOR
OF LIBRARIES FOR THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR
THIS PROGRAM.
Mr. Branin will speak on "New Spaces and Places in The
Ohio State University Libraries". In this presentation,
Mr. Branin will describe how Ohio State University Libraries
and other research libraries are responding to changes in
information technology, higher education, and the public
funding environment. Particular focus will be devoted to two
projects: Ohio State's Knowledge Bank Project to collect and
preserve the digital assets of the University, and the major
renovation of the William Oxley Thompson Library, the
grand, historic main library at the center of campus.
