[OPLINLIST] A question for libraries with self-check

Good morning,
We are looking for ways to increase the use of our self-check machine, and
we know that one way to do this would be to install the option that allows
for video checkout. I would like to ask those of you with self-check, do
you allow your patrons to self-check audio-visual materials? If so, what
problems have you encountered? We use security cases for many of our
audio-visual materials. We are considering eliminating them if we permit
self-check of A-V. What security issues have you run across due to the
self-check?
