            The Cleveland Heights - University Heights Public Library is
truly a community gathering place, where programming is a vital focus.
With several strong community partnerships already in place, we are
looking for a leader whose vision, experience and knowledge can develop
and maintain even more!  Do you have a background in coordinating,
programming and developing community events?  Do you have knowledge of
grant money available to libraries and how to secure and manage it?  Are
you a successful organizer, communicator and motivator?  If so, please
respond with creativity and enthusiasm to our brand new position and
show us why you're the one to initiate it!

            Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Communications,
English, Public Relations, Marketing or related business field or
equivalent work experience.  Significant experience in developing and
implementing programming for libraries or other non-profits a plus.
Knowledge of grant and proposal writing standards, fund raising
strategies and project management.  Excellent organization, written and
verbal communication skills required.  Demonstrable success at leading
and managing multiple initiatives with varied groups.

            Salary from $39,970, depending on experience. And our
