NOLA CONGRATULATES KnowItNow 24x7 AfterDarK ON THEIR FIRST ANNIVERSARY

Warren, Ohio - September 7, 2005 - The NOLA Regional Library System would
like to congratulate the talented and dedicated librarians who staff the
KnowItNow 24X7 AfterDark portion of the statewide virtual reference project,
KnowItNow, on their one year anniversary.  Thanks to a grant from the
Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) awarded by the State
Library of Ohio, the 24/7 virtual reference service was launched for
residents throughout the state of Ohio September 7, 2004. Librarians around
the state staff the service during regular library hours and the NOLA
Regional Library System coordinates over 50 Afterdark operators when
libraries are closed.

NOLA would also like to congratulate and thank the primary partners;
Cleveland Public Library, Cuyahoga County Public Library, the NOLA Regional
Library System and the many librarians around the state who provide their
talents and expertise to the service during business hours.

country's first fully staffed, locally controlled, 24x7 live virtual
reference service. Also, be sure to visit the KIN booth in the exhibit area
of the OLC Conference October 5-7, 2005 and plan to attend the cake and

The NOLA Regional Library System is a multitype library agency that
coordinates and facilitates the development of services of its member
libraries for all of their constituents. NOLA is a membership-driven
organization that seeks to strengthen library services and to promote the
