Developing a Marketing Plan 
When: Friday October 14, 2005
From: 9:30 a.m.  to  4:00 p.m.
Where: SOLO Learning Center, 20774 Marietta Road, Caldwell, OH 43724
 
Description: Are your marketing, advertising and public relations activities
truly benefiting your organization? Or maybe you've never tried any of these
communication methods? This program will guide you through the process of
creating a marketing plan -- an essential document in every successful
business. You will spend the day working with tools to help you define
messages and markets. You will also establish goals and objectives, and
assign tasks to accomplish them. The presenter will allow time to work with
each group or individual so all participants will leave with a rough draft
of a working plan.

**SOLO will provide a floppy disk for you to save your work.  If preferred,
bring a "removeable drive (pen drive)**
 Speaker: Melissa Dabe, Community Information Officer, Greene County Public
Library, Xenia

Melissa Dabe has worked in marketing, advertising and public relations since
1989 and is a graduate of Wright State University with a B.A. in
Organizational Communication. She has been the Community Information Officer
for the Greene County Public Library system, Xenia, for the last ten years.
A native of Springfield, Ohio, Melissa has presented numerous training
workshops all over the state of Ohio.
