Position Opening: Head of Circulation Services 

  The Kaubisch Memorial Public Library, in Fostoria, Ohio, is looking for a
special person to join our staff of dedicated employees. The library,
located in a rural area forty miles south of Toledo, has an opening for the
Head of Circulation Services. This supervisory position is responsible for
all activities dealing with the circulation of materials and related
services, patron registration, record keeping and collection of library
revenue. As head of the library's most public department, the Head of
Circulation Services is expected to be friendly, diplomatic, and dedicated
to a high level of customer service. 

   The successful candidate will be proficient with a computerized library
system or systems (preferably SIRSI), have knowledge of office equipment and
standard computer applications, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and
communication skills. 

   A college degree or relevant library experience is required. A minimum of
five years library experience is requested. 

   Compensation is dependent upon the applicants level of education and
experience. This position requires a 40-hour work week, including nights and
alternate Saturday work. The benefit package includes paid individual health
insurance, eleven paid holidays, sick leave, paid vacations, OPERS
retirement and a deferred compensation plan.
