An international team of marine biologists discovered an unusual crustacean
during survey of hydrothermal vents along the Pacific-Antarctic ridge near
Easter Island. The crab measures 15 cm (6 in.) long and its long legs are
covered with yellow hairs, prompting the discoverers to nickname it "Yeti
Crab."
