You're invited to attend the annual spring workshop of ALAO Distance
Learning Interest Group (DLIG). 

Workshop: Virtually Anywhere: Innovative Approaches to Library Services
for Distance Learners
Date:  Friday, June 2, 2006
Time:  9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. 
Location:   Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio-easily accessible in
mid-Ohio, three miles west of I-71 

This year's speakers will focus on the role that libraries and
librarians play in successful distance learning programs. We will
examine the issues affecting resources and services for distance
learners, with a special focus on collaboration with teaching faculty,
library integration into courseware, instructional design, and the
instructional needs of specific populations. 

This workshop is a great opportunity to end your work week on a
beautiful spring day, to catch up with your peers and to gain new
insights.
