There is still time to register for OHIONET's Advanced Local Holdings
Maintenance workshop! Join instructor Morag Boyd as she covers the
differences between encoding levels and a variety of special cases,
including multiple copies or formats of a title, limited retention, and
holdings that are incomplete. The workshop will look at the standards,
including Z39.71 and MARC Format for Holdings Data, to decide how to
handle these situations and then apply them to OCLC Local Holdings.
Bring examples of your tricky holdings for the class to use as examples.

 

When: Wednesday December 12th, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where: OHIONET

Cost: $80 (members); $100 (non-members)
