[OPLINLIST] e-mail

We definitely do allow our patrons to use their e-mail accounts on our
public computers, provided the e-mail account can be accessed via the Web.
We have security settings in place now that prevent Outlook Express from
working, because we had several patrons who kept trying to set it up to
access their non-Web e-mail accounts. But we place no restrictions on
web-based e-mail at all.

As many others on the list have said, it is one of the primary reasons that
our Internet patrons need the computers -- and as someone else pointed out,
being able to access it makes so much more possible on the web, as well.
