  What To Keep? Acquisition Strategies and the Appraisal/Selection

This workshop will cover the topics of developing acquisition strategies 
and statements. It also will delve deeply into the process of making 
appraisal and acquisition decisions. Both lecture and hands-on exercises 
will be used. Participants will be asked to bring examples from their 
respective institutions as case studies.

Paul Yon and Ann Bowers are both retired from the Bowling Green State 
University (Ohio) Center for Archival Collections. They have many 
combined years of experience in the field of Archives Management and 
have been gracious to offer their talents for this workshop.
