Please excuse cross-posting of this announcement.

OHIONET would like to offer libraries the following training
opportunity:

Advanced Podcasting

The author of the article "Podcasting! What's All the Buzz?"
<http://webgarden.osu.edu/buckeye2006.pdf> will continue to demonstrate
the many uses of podcasts, and he will teach attendants how to make
their own "enhanced podcast." Regular podcasts bring audio files to
users through syndication. Enhanced podcasts add images to the package
to create a more compelling end product. When done appropriately,
enhanced podcasts can have all of the power of a video feed with much
less work and expense. Dr. Rhodus will explain what to consider when
developing an enhanced podcast, he will demonstrate how to make one, and
he will lead attendees through the process of making their own. This
session is a partner to "Podcasting for Beginners" that was held in the
fall, but interested persons may sign up for this session even if they
did not attend "Podcasting for Beginners."
