POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Youth Services Manager

Kaubisch Memorial Public Library
Fostoria, Ohio

Located in a rural community an hour south of Toledo, the Kaubisch Memorial
Public Library seeks energetic, service-focused candidates who enjoy
bringing books and children together.


RESPONSIBILITES:  The Youth Services Manager is responsible for coordinating
and directing programs of service to children and providing support to those
working with children. He or she will build and maintain the children's and
young adult collections and oversee activities in the Youth Services area of
the library.


REQUIREMENTS:  A Masters of Library Science from an ALA accredited program
is preferred. Any equivalent combination of experience, education and
training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to
perform the work, may be considered at the discretion of the Library
Director. Four years of library experience, including supervisory
experience, is preferred.


COMPENSATION: The salary range begins at $29,200 and is dependent upon
qualifications and experience. This position requires a 40-hour work week,
including nights and alternate Saturday work. The benefit package includes
paid individual health insurance, eleven paid holidays, sick leave, two
weeks vacation after a year, OPERS retirement, and an optional deferred
compensation plan.
