[OPLINLIST] Scheduling shelving pages based on amount checked in

Hello
   
  Does anyone use software or excel spreadsheets to track the number of items
  checked in per day as it relates to the number of staff scheduled to shelve per shift?
   
  Such a spreadsheet could also be used to report shelving productivity per shift - per day.
  or demonstrate the need for scheduling more shelvers on a particular day based on history
   
  I am just starting to put together something like that and wondered if other libraries already
  had mechanisms in place I could look at...
