The location for the Rob Reid workshop hosted by SERLS on May 28th has moved
to Zanesville in response to requests we've received to hold this workshop
in a more centralized location. Zanesville is located only 45 minutes east
of Columbus, just off of Route 70. Don't miss an opportunity to see this
highly energetic and well respected speaker share fun new programming ideas

Speaker: 
Rob Reid is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education and Social Sciences
at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he teaches Children's
Literature, Literature for Adolescents, and library courses. He is the
author of two picture books, seven library resource books, and has three
forthcoming resource books for ALA Editions and Upstart Books. He has a
regular column in Book Links magazine titled "The Reid Aloud Alert" and a
local spot on Wisconsin Public Radio called "Rob Reid Talkin' About
Children's and Young Adult Literature." 

	

Program Description:
Rob will share dozens of new story program ideas from his latest books:
Something Musical Happened, Shake and Shout, and More Family Storytimes, as
well as several "kid-tested" story program favorites from Rob's 27 years of
entertaining children and their families. The workshop will be set-up as a
smorgasbord of ideas featuring storytelling, read-alouds, creative
dramatics, poetry and wordplay, and lots and lots of music (for musicians
and non-musicians alike). 

All libraries enjoy an automatic Basic membership with the Southeast
Regional Library System at no cost. If your library is not a dues paying
