POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Children's Services Manager
Tuscarawas County Public Library
New Philadelphia, OH

The Tuscarawas County Public Library seeks an innovative and 
energetic individual to become a member of its management team as the 
children's services manager for its newly renovated and redesigned 
children's department.

The position requires an accredited MLS/MLIS degree, and the 
successful candidate will possess excellent communication, 
leadership, and technology skills, as well as a solid knowledge of 
children's literature and current trends in library services to 
children ages 0-12 years. Self-motivation, the ability to prioritize 
varied tasks, and the ability to manage people are key. In addition 
to managing a creative staff, duties include customer service, 
collection development, programming, marketing library materials and 
services, managing the day-to-day functions, and planning for future 
services that relate to the library's mission and strategic plan. 
Salary range begins at $29,473 plus benefits.
