Dan Cain, founder of Cain Consulting Group Inc., is a nationally
recognized authority in management and governance, and has worked
directly with nonprofit and government organizations since 1984. He has
presented workshops in all fifty states and Canada for single boards,
groups of boards, conferences, conventions and state, national, and
international associations. He facilitates long-range strategic planning
retreats and consults with boards and managers on special problem issues.

Dan is also the author of a complete line of training and development
publications used by thousands of nonprofit boards throughout the US and
Canada. He has assisted many state organizations to write board
development materials for their member boards.

In addition to his wide experience working with nonprofit management and
boards, Dan is himself an experienced board member and speaks from years
in the trenches. This personal experience comes through loud and clear
in his workshops as he presents the Cain governance model.
