Subject: CBS Nightly News coverage of surge in library usage

Dear Colleagues: This story ran on the CBS Nightly News last week. Peter Persic, a former member of the Public Awareness Committee, was interviewed. ALA's Public Information Office assisted the producer with the development of this story. After it appeared, PIO received eight calls from media, which want to develop their own stories. Please feel free to share the coverage with your lists, if appropriate.
