Our bookmobile is pretty simple.
We have a laptop with scanner, etc. that sits on the desk. No Velcro.
We have Hughes net, but use off-line circ because it is faster.

Hello all:
We need your advice. We are getting ready to purchase our circ computer and our public use computer for our new bookmobile. We have the following questions:

 *   Do you recommend laptop over desktop?
 *   How do you secure the computer to your table/counter, velcro?
 *   How do you connect to the Internet?
We have some pretty good ideas, but are still not certain enough to take the plunge in any one direction. We already requested info from the Bookmobile list and have not received a response. Thanks in advance for your collective wisdom!
