[OPLINLIST] Author Program: Meet Mystery Author Carrie Bebris

The Dover Public Library will be hosting acclaimed mystery author Carrie
Bebris for a special Meet the Author program on Tuesday, June 28th at 7:00
PM.  Bebris is the author of the Mr. and Mrs. Darcy mysteries—a series
featuring newlyweds Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy from Jane Austen’s *Pride
and Prejudice.  *Mr. The series offers plenty of lively dialogue, suspense,
and romantic interplay, with eerie twists reminiscent of the gothic novels
so popular in Austen’s day.


The Darcy Mystery Series debuted with *Pride and Prescience, *which made the
Independent Mystery Booksellers Association bestseller list and was named
one of the five best mysteries of 2004 by Library Journal.  Successive books
bring the Darcy duo into contact with characters from other Austen novels,
including her most recent titles, *The Intrigue at Highbury* (2010), which
is based on *Emma, *and *The Deception at Lyme *(2011), which is based on *
Persuasion.****  *Refreshments and a book signing sponsored by Waldenbooks
will follow the program, which is free and open to the public.   For more
