OPLIN land -

I would like to get some input from those of you using software such as PC
Reservation for your public computers that require the patron to use a PIN.
What do you do when you have a minor come to the library and they have
forgotten their PIN? Do you reset the PIN or do you need a parent's
permission to reset the PIN (because it is the same PIN used to access the
minor's account online)? Are there legal issues to changing a minor's PIN
without the parent's permission? Do you have policies set in place for
this? Do you reset the PIN based on the minor's age, for example, ten and
under need a parent's permission?

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Betsy
