Thank you everyone! We currently don't have any "library swag", but we have a local candle company. Not very manly, but it's what we have in little Swanton.

Also, someone asked who is coming. It's Mike Mullin, author of "Ashfall." Sounds like he's doing quite a few of these to get the word out.

In my past life as a Children's Librarian, we regularly had performers, local artists, authors donate their time and talent for library programming. I tried to always give them something to show our appreciation. I have given: FOL book bags with a cheap stationary set; library or dollar store mugs filled with individual tea bags, hot cocoa or coffee; candy dish with wrapped candy. We knew of one person who loved Mug Root Beer so we gave him a 2 liter bottle - all of these gifts were accompanied by a hand written thank you note.
