Position: Youth Services and Outreach Services Coordinator 
Deadline: Applications received by June 9, 2014 will be given first consideration 
Pay: $23.44 /hr. salary 
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hour standard work week, including days, evenings, and weekends 
Required education and experience: 
ALA accredited MLS 
Five years of professional experience in children’s library services including programming and collection development. 
Extensive knowledge of children’s materials and children’s library services. 
Supervisory experience. 

General Summary: This position is responsible for providing library services to youth, parents, teachers, caregivers, and other individuals and organizations that work with youth, as well as patrons and agencies served by the Outreach Services Department. The incumbent is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the Youth Services and Outreach Services Departments, including planning, directing, supervising, promoting, and evaluating all programs and services. Over 90% of time will be spent on management of the Youth Services Department, and 10% or less on Outreach Services.
